Stephanie knows what it is like to work directly in the classroom with students of all learning styles and backgrounds. She will advocate for ALL students including their right to equal access to public education no matter their race, ethnic background, religion, sex, gender, socioeconomic status, or citizenship.
Stephanie’s passion for public education comes from her own educational background as well as her personal experience teaching in the classroom. She understands that our children’s public education is in jeopardy as we continue to be defunded by those in powerful positions. We need to invest our tax dollars back into our public schools.
As both a DVUSD parent and teacher, Stephanie understands the importance of advocating for both. From livable wages to parent communication, campus improvement plans to parent volunteering, individual education plans (IEPs) to small class sizes, Stephanie will advocate for all!
